Shipping & Returns

Internet Pricing is ONLY AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET!

If you come into our store to purchase items, you will be charged retail prices. All in-store customers asking for internet pricing will be denied. If you want internet pricing, order it online, over the internet through our secure shopping cart. We appreciate your understanding.

Shipping Times

Shipping times vary and we are not responsible for shipping times. Usually, UPS & USPS takes 1-7 days to deliver packages. We make every effort to get your packages shipped as soon as possible. Even though USPS claims to delivery all packages within 3-5 business days, their proven track record with our company is that it can take anywhere from 3-14 days. We recommend choosing UPS shipping during checkout because they are more reliable and their shipping times have a higher percentage rate of being delivered on time.

Shipping Info

Every attempt will be made to ship your order within 24 hours of when it is a received. We ship UPS and USPS, it is your choice during the checkout to choose. As the shipper, it is at our discretion to which is the best choice for shipping. For instance, if you choose to ship an icemaker USPS and we feel it is a better choice to ship via UPS, we have the right to do so, as UPS has insurance to protect you in case your item is damaged.

All shipments are FOB our warehouse. Shipping is charged on all orders and back orders. Our responsibility for shipments reaching their destination in a satisfactory condition ends with the delivery (in good condition) by us to the transportation carrier. If you shipment is lost or damaged en route, you must file a claim with the transportation company. You are obliged to pay all transportation costs involved in a warranty transaction (or for any other parts returned to us for credit) unless we are in error.

International Buyers

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Shipping Insurance

Optional shipping insurance is available during checkout. If you order and choose USPS as your shipping choice and do not purchase the optional insurance, we are 100% not responsible for lost or damaged packages. By placing an order, you are agreeing to these conditions. If you choose UPS shipping, insurance is included up to $100 for free. Please, if you choose USPS, for your own peace of mind, purchase the optional insurance.

Returns

If you find it necessary to return goods for credit, please write or call for permission and instructions. The only parts that may be returned are those purchased with the past 15 days. Credit cannot be issued for parts other than those originally purchased from us. A 25% restocking fee will be charged on all items accepted for return. This charge will not be made when we are in error. Items which were specially ordered for you cannot be returned for credit. Our invoice number showing where the replacement part was originally purchased must be furnished in the event credit is requested. Electrical parts must be returned in the original factory containers with no sign of usage or installation.

Warranty

All parts or products are sold without any warranty other than that which Parts Appliance suppliers declare may be passed on through the distributor to dealers and/or consumers. Warranty replacement and exchange parts must be received by us prior to their replacement or exchange. Credit for items returned in warranty cannot be issued unless complete and accurate warranty information is furnished along with the returned parts. Manufacturer's warranty return tags are available at no charge. Defective parts must be returned within (30) days of the shipping date for refund or exchange.

Defective compressors must have proper return tags completely filled in and attached. All lines must be brazed shut. There will be a $10.00 handling charge for all compressors returned without containers or with oil soaked boxes caused from open lines. All warranty items for credit must be returned within 15 days after repairing the appliance.

Cancellation Policy

Partsappliance.com fills most orders within the same day as order placement. Once an order is accepted, there is no guarantee an order may be cancelled. Any order that is not able to be cancelled must be accepted upon delivery and authorized for return following the policy listed below. Please also refer to sections titled "Refused Shipment" and "Unauthorized Returns."

Expedited Shipping

Over Night Delivery, Two-Day & Three-Day Delivery items will be shipped by the requested method of delivery after your order has been processed. In stock items should ship within twenty-four hours of order placement. Out of stock items should ship by the requested method within twenty-four hours of being received by the warehouse. We will do our best to ship expedited orders that are placed by 2PM (CST) the same day, however, sometimes this cannot be done, if your order is extremely urgent or time sensitive, please call us first to confirm exact shipping date and times. Sometimes, during holidays or due to forces of nature, UPS has special delivery dates and times, we are not responsible for adjusted delivery date and times made by UPS due to holidays or forces of nature.

General Delivery

By use of this site, customers authorize the carrier to leave a package at the destination delivery address without obtaining a signature if the carrier driver deems the location to be safe. Customers who are not able to locate the package that is claimed as delivered must follow the instructions for filing a claim listed below under the heading "Incorrect Delivery and Lost Package Claims."

Coupon Code

The coupon code for 5% off is '555' enter this at the end of your checkout process to receive an immediate 5% off your order. If you fail to enter this in, your account will not be credited after the purchase. All emails and requests after your purchase will be ignored.

General Return Information

Authorized Returns:

Returns must be authorized by contacting Parts Appliance to obtain a Return Authorization Number. Authorization does not guarantee credit. Parts Appliance will issue credit to the customer upon receipt of the return package. The customer's card may be recharged any applicable fees if subsequent inspection reveals damage, missing components, or incorrect reason for return. Authorized returns must be received by the warehouse no later than 30 days from the date of original shipment to the customer. Packages received thirty (30) days after original shipment date may not be accepted and may subsequently be returned to the customer. All returned products must be in resalable condition, including: all components, manuals, registration cards, and original undamaged packaging. In addition, the following restrictions apply: Credit cannot be issued for electric or electronic parts that have been installed. Some returned parts may incur a restocking fee. Owner's Manuals, Service Manuals, Instruction Booklets, Software (including but not limited to Restore CDs) may not be returned. Please see "Process for Returning Merchandise" below.

Unauthorized Returns:

An unauthorized return is defined as any package returned to Parts Appliance without the proper return authorization code on the shipping label. Unauthorized returns may include any package refused by the customer during a delivery attempt. Unauthorized returns received by Parts Appliance may be refused at the warehouse and returned to the sender. In this case, the customer may be held responsible for the cost of shipping the package back to the sender. This cost will be passed along to the customer either in the form of a deduction from the total credit due to the customer or a charge to the credit card if refund has already been issued. Any credits issued may be delayed.

Process for Returning Merchandise

Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number: All returns must have an RMA number for processing. Call Parts Appliance at 1-773-278-1300 to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number. RMA's are only valid for thirty (30) days from the date of original product shipment to the customer.

Include the RMA number on the outside of the package: RMA numbers should be clearly displayed on the return shipping label of any package being returned to Parts Appliance . Do not write the RMA number on the actual box. Packages without an RMA number on the return shipping label will not be accepted.

Ship within thirty (30) days: Products must be returned within thirty (30) days of original shipment to the customer. Packages received after 30 days of original shipment will not be accepted and may be returned to the customer.

Repack in original packaging: Enclose everything originally received, including all components, manuals, and registration cards. Place the packaged product in a protective outer box. We must receive all original products in order to process your return or exchange. Parts Appliance is not responsible for products that are damaged due to poor packaging, defaced packaging, or lost shipments.

Refused Shipments

A refused shipment occurs when the customer refuses to accept the package during a delivery attempt. Customers who refuse delivery in place of contacting Parts Appliance to obtain proper return instructions may be assessed a fee to cover return shipping and labor charges. This cost will be passed along to the customer in the form of a deduction from the total credit due to the customer. In addition, refused shipments may be considered an unauthorized return and subject to the policies thereof.

Refunded Payments

Credit will appear on the customer's statement within one to two billing cycles. Credit will be issued for part cost, tax, and shipping less any re-stocking fees (where applicable). Shipping may not be refunded in all cases.

Return Shipping Charges

Parts Appliance may provide a pre-paid return label depending on the reason a return is requested. The customer is held responsible for all shipping fees where a pre-paid label is not provided.

Claims Policy

Visible Damage, Concealed Damage, and Missing Content Claims. Visible Damage is defined as any damage to the packaging that is identifiable without opening the package at the time of delivery. Concealed Damage is defined as any damage that is not immediately noticeable at the time the package is opened or when the product is first used. Missing Content is defined as any package that is missing product that the packing slip states is included. These types of claims must be made directly to Parts Appliance within five business days of delivery. Any claims made after that time can not be honored. Please contact Parts Appliance at 1-773-278-1300 to make such a claim.

Incorrect Delivery and Lost Package Claims. Incorrect Delivery is defined as any incident where the driver delivers the package to the wrong address or individual. Lost Packages may occur in two ways. First, lost packages may occur when packages are not able to be located within the carrier's network. Second, a package may be considered lost when the carrier claims delivery was completed by leaving the package on the doorstep, but the customer can not locate the package. Both incorrect delivery and lost package incidents are usually discovered through standard tracking of the package.

Claims for either of these problems must be made directly to Parts Appliance upon discovery. No claims will be honored after forty days from shipment date. Please contact Parts Appliance at 1-773-278-1300 to make such a claim.

Incorrect Product Claims. Parts Appliance must be notified directly within 30 days of shipment of any package received where contents incorrect. Please contact Parts Appliance at 1-773-278-1300 to make such a claim.

Substitution Policy

Parts Appliance reserves the right to substitute replacement parts for items ordered at their discretion. Parts Appliance reserves the right to cancel any order where the substitute part is more expensive than the original part ordered.

Our minimum billing is $10.00. In the event that your order does not amount to $10.00, we will exercise our judgment and add an item that has universal use or application.

Occasionally, we cannot immediately supply an item from our stock. Please mark your order or tell us if you do not want such items "back ordered"

We are not responsible for any bank overdraft fees that occur from declined credit card transactions. If you are having a problem, placing your order online, please call us.

To avoid errors, always order by part number, description and make of appliance. If this information is not available, please send the sample part with complete instructions.

Original, genuine or exact replacement parts are stocked and supplied at the manufacturers' suggested resale price to dealers.
